Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Work Parties
Come to the NSEA’s first work party of the season on March 7th from 9am-noon at Deer Creek!
Other work parties are scheduled for:
March 14th and March 28th 9-noon to plant native trees and shrubs at Smith Creek
March 21st 9am-noon remove invasive blackberries at Squaw Creek.
High school students are also invited to be a part of their committee!

Monday, March 2 - Electronics presentation by Jim Swartos of the Washington Technology Institute. Robotics, Fiber Optics, NANO & Micro Systems are some of the courses offered. College Planning Day Friday, March 27th - for Juniors and undecided Seniors ( at WWU). Students listen to presentations by the major universities and colleges in Washington State.Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 25th 2:30pm.
Career Fair Wed, April 1st This the Rotary's annual event featuring a key note speaker. Students will attend four career presentations of their choice.Sign up in the Career Center by March 16th by 7:45am
Skagit Apprenticeship Tour Wed, April 22nd Grades 11-12 hands on activities at three apprenticeship training locations. Register by April 17th. Parent chaperones appreciated! Sign up in the Career Center by Thursday, April 16th by 7:45am
